CDL Class A Truck Driver – Home Most Weekends

The Challenge

We are looking for a responsible driver to help deliver our building products on scheduled truck routes for our customers.  We have been manufacturing for over 35 years and provide delivery services for all our customers throughout the Midwest.

Shift and Schedule

Home weekly for at least 48 hours typically Saturday and Sunday

Compensation

  • Salary: $.70 per mile for at least 75,000 miles / year. All expenses paid while driving the Semi.  20.00 per hour while driving local box truck and supporting other functions.
  • Address to Address practical milage pay.

Job Requirements

  • 2 years driving experience
  • No arrest record for the last 10 years
  • Must hold/have held a valid U.S. drivers license for at least 12 months.
  • No DWI or DUI convictions within the past five years.
  • No major preventable accidents within the past twelve months.
  • No reckless driving convictions in the last 3 years in a personal or commercial vehicle.
  • Able to pass a DOT physical and drug test.
  • 5-years verifiable work experience.
  • Comfortable with technology, such as GPS and transportation management software, ELD electronic logging device.
  • Attending meetings internally with staff and customers.
  • Communicate and work closely with the Harvard Products Team to help ensure products are delivered on time and that issues in the field are properly reported back to the organization.
  • Ensure compliance to company policies and Harvard Products safety regulations.
  • Support other activities as required.

Qualifications Required:

  • Must have a Class A CDL license
  • 2 years driving experience
  • Ability to speak and write in English
